Abstract

This study investigates the impact of AI technologies on the effectiveness of digital media in library systems, focusing on how Artificial Intelligence can enhance the accessibility and preservation of cultural and informational resources. The present scinerio in libraries is increasingly embracing the developments of digital contents that challenges to manage and control the vast collection of digital media. AI technology include Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and computer vision. This research examines several key areas of AI integration to improve the digital library operation and services. These technologies not only facilitate the preservation of historical materials but also ensure that they remain accessible to future generations. Moreover, the study analyzes the impact of AI on the retrieval of digital media by employing anvanced algorithms for indexing and searching. It is felt that AI can enhance the discoverability of resources, allowing users to find relevant materials and Natural Language Processing (NLP) enables more intuitive search interface, accommodating diverse user queries and improving overall user experience. The findings underscore the necessity for libraries to embrace these technologies to remain relevant in the digital age while preserving their foundational mission of providing access to knowledge.
