Abstract

The Bologna-process, the expectable sharpening of the competition in the education, the lifelong learning and the propagation of the remote education require adaptation and a new way of administration – first of all – from the universities. The prompt provision of the information needed to the more economical operation and decisions requires up to date management systems (an ERP system) and an integrated educational system as well. Furthermore, it is very important that the IT system of the institutions should extend to an e-learning general educational system as well. In the near future, these points will play an important role not only in the higher education but also in all educational institutions. The institutions of the higher education use such systems first of all in the United States. However, due to the different operation of such systems, they can hardly be integrated in the Hungarian system of education. The application of systems complying with the future requirements is of vital importance for our institutions as well.
