Abstract

The chapter is devoted to multivariate analysis of the degree of social cohesion achieved by the individual countries of the European Union. The definition of social cohesion adopted in the analysis is based on a formula defined in the Europe 2020 plan. In the research the zero unitarization method and Hellwig method were used. The study was conducted for the years 2008 and 2012.
