Abstract

At the beginning of the twentieth century, tourismTourism was seen as an alternative to agrarian and industrial crisisCrisis and as a new source of wealth. In MalagaMalaga, after the end-of-the-century depression, initiatives arose that pursued the consolidation of an attractive offer for tourist flowsTourist flows with high purchasing power, at a time when good weather and beach were beginning to be valued not only for winter tourism but also for rest stays in summer.
