Abstract

The Alpha study indicated that it would be beneficial to learn more about how to conduct causal mapping sessions and that further experience would enable me to gain a better understanding of the process described in Chapter 6.I therefore undertook several mapping exercises, the aim of which was to develop the causal mapping process rather than to learn more about tacit routines as such. Before describing these exercises I shall outline what I learnt from the Alpha case with respect to methodology.
