Objectives of the Case Studies

Abstract

The case studies in this book provide a detailed account of operational practices in a variety of British manufacturing companies. They are all based on an extensive period of study by the author of policies and practices in the companies concerned. The objective of writing the case studies has been to offer a basic source of information through which the student of management, the practising manager and the interested general reader can develop three skills:
