Abstract

In the preceding chapter, we looked at how clients’ expectations from consultants may grow in the future — in terms of speed and scope, as much as scale. Such pressure will pose a significant challenge to the Consulting industry: as the ‘machine’ Starts to operate more quickly, there is a danger that consulting firms will be unable to satisfy the demands being made on them without significant changes to the way in which they work.
