Abstract

Galbraith recommends greater governmental intervention in the production, distribution and exchange of goods and services. He also recommends, however, that if power to decide is to be redistributed from individuals and firms towards the State, then the power to decide must first be redistributed within the State and specifically away from bureaucrats and in favour of politicians.
