Abstract

Globalization is the “magic” word that symbolizes the whole wide world coming or working together as one entity in many fields of endeavor. In business terms, it is defined as most businesses of the world working in complementarity tandem with each other irrespective of the fact that they are located in different parts of the world. For example, in building the Airbus A320 at its base in Toulouse (France), different parts of the aircraft are sourced from the Airbus Company’s global partners, that is, the wings are built in the United Kingdom (Europe), the fuselage in France (Europe), the tail in Australia (Australasia), and the cockpit in Japan (Asia). Such an engineering business phenomenon really and truly characterizes the Airbus Company as a global business venture.
