Abstract

Many different solutions are produced in data mining. As previously discussed, solutions can be both of the statistical and the nonstatistical variety. How is the impact of a given solution assessed? In particular, how is this impact assessed in business terms that are understandable to the business executives? The answer is through validation by what is often referred to as a gains table,
