Abstract

The crisis of capitalism can now be assumed to be the reality. The current economic and social system is characterized by severe conflict and constant change (Hosseini, 2011). This is evident from the dramatic state of the labor market, which reflects the failure of capitalism and the devastating effects of that failure. In this turbulent economic time, following a global recession (Imbs, 2010), organizational decisions are often focused on how to cut costs, reduce investments in employee training and development, and even reduce employee numbers (Morgan et al., 2011).
