Abstract

In my work in analysing Mega Trends, I made three simple, but interesting and important, discoveries. The first one is that Mega Trends are significant forces of change; and, since these are forces, they are — my second discovery — subject to Sir Isaac Newton’s laws of motion. In context to the application of Newton’s laws to this chapter, my third discovery relates to Newton’s third law in which Mega Trends are connected and intertwined, which suggests ‘synergetic’ opportunities between them. An impact of one Mega Trend can have an equal and opposite reaction to another Mega Trend.
