Abstract

There are some who are already benefiting from the focus on CSR but perhaps at present, in the main, they are the consultants. They sit on the edges of the business community providing advice and publications. These promote the virtues of organizations which, through their sustainability profile, have built up a major business opportunity. A few, including the Body Shop, Traidcraft and the Eden Project, have a business which is based on delivering a sustainability-focused business model.
