Abstract

Strategic foresight is having a view of what can be done by the organization today to positively influence the future. Enlightened foresight has more than just the organization in mind. It involves an examination of the actions the organization can take to benefit itself and society. It requires that people in the organization have a view about what the organization should do to improve its position and prevent the organization and those around it from being harmed.
