Abstract

One of the critical functions of a manager is to translate. Translate the mission, the purpose of the company, into material elements (machines, processes, products, information, etc.) that provide the service. This translating function became very clear in our conversation with Daniel. To achieve this properly, the Director must keep his feet firmly on the ground. You’ve got to go down and listen to the client and understand his problem in detail. We’ll look at these key points in this chapter.
