Abstract

Today, the demand from many corporate stakeholders for leadership and responsibility is inducing business schools to reposition these dimensions in their education process and research activities. When the voyage becomes more perilous, the crew demands more of the captain. As ‘perfect storms’ gather on the horizon of the world economic scene, captains of industry are coming under increasing pressure to live up to the expectations of more nervous and demanding crews. What are the visible ‘clouds’ of such incoming storms?
