A Sense of Balance

Abstract

A successful manager must have the capacity to focus single-mindedly on priorities yet at the same time retain a sense of balance through the recognition of the aspirations and claims of others. This is just one of the great paradoxes of management. To date, in this book, we have focused on some very specific areas that will add value not only to the company but also to the manager through his greater knowledge base. In this chapter we will have regard for a number of areas where a sense of balance is required.
