Abstract

Would you be more or less inclined to hire a person if you knew he or she was strongly religious? Would it really depend on what religion it was? Are those who are evangelical, “strict” or fanatical much the same in their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors? Are you engaging a person of moral integrity or blind intolerance; a person of compassion or inflexibility? Are converts more dangerous than those “born into the faith?” How does religion have an impact on behavior at work?
