Abstract

The concept of internationalization is usually employed to convey a positive connotation of its meaning – the nature of the economic, political and cultural relations that a community or country establish with others. Depending on the forms these relations take, internationalization can be mercantile or trade (exchange of goods), productive (foreign investments), financial (capital movements), technological (technology transfers), cultural (cultural relations) and movements of people (migrations).
