Abstract

As organizations seek to thrive in increasingly uncertain economic and business environments, more and more attention is being focused on the role of talent management in better utilizing knowledge workers. Specifically, companies are searching for processes and techniques to keep knowledge workers engaged and committed in order to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. This objective is especially significant for firms employing non-traditional knowledge workers, who work on a part-time or contractual basis.
