Abstract

Agricultural export market growth is a key factor for rural income generation and rural development in all developing countries. In this respect, international trade in agricultural products, specifically, the exports of agricultural products and commodities to developed countries, with the United States (US) and the European Union (EU) foremost, and the increasing spread of different technical regulations, termed Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures, adopted in this sector by developed countries in the last decade have acquired a significant importance for developing countries trade.1
