My Experience with Business Driven Action Learning

Abstract

Business driven action learning proved to be a turning point in my personal and professional development. I was introduced to it during an employer-sponsored development course called the International Business Leadership Program (IBLP). With 30 colleagues from six different business units and 14 countries descending on South Florida for nearly two weeks, this required a significant financial investment from my employer. I anticipated 11 days of challenging work, professional growth and team building, but underestimated the impact of the IBLP, as I did not understand the power of business driven action learning.
