Abstract

China’s reform approach has become common knowledge. After three decades of reform, it has recorded unprecedented successes. The world perceives China as an awakened dragon, being projected onto the world stage as an economic, political, and military giant. General interest in China’s affairs in the past has evolved into concern and apprehension. Instead of being seen as a mass of muscles with minimal constructive energies, China is seen to have transformed itself into an astute participant in the world of business and political affairs. The world sees China’s systemic transformation as a success story.
