Abstract

Creating the appropriate environment for the unique investment banking culture is a central challenge for any bank regardless of size or business model. Can there be ‘one bank’ or many? How can one allow for the flexibility needed to adapt to market opportunities? And how can a large and complex organization focus its resources to achieve the nirvana demanded by the intense client focus described in Chapter 3?
