Abstract

Development of the powers of production, with a planned increase in the productivity of labour, will always have positive effects for society, with an increase in social wealth. The statements made by Lenin (1961a) on the importance of increasing labour productivity for the construction of a new social order are as valid today as they were over fifty years ago.
