Abstract

Centralized control of production and its purposive co-ordination with social needs are becoming increasingly accepted elements in national policies. Economists must therefore devote deepening attention to the clarification of the economic aspects of the control system, and must elaborate methods to establish a management practice conducive to optimal results. The development of a specific branch of economic science to deal with this question has become a social necessity.
