Abstract

No completely comprehensive list can be made of the kinds of environmental effect urban transport has. A satisfactory urban transport decision which tried to allow for significant environmental effects might cover: noise vibration air pollution dirt visual intrusion loss of privacy changes in the amount of light neighbourhood severance, both physical and sociological relocation disruption during planning and construction accident experience pedestrian journeys congestion and other benefits to vehicles [1].
