Abstract

Computers and robots have been threatening jobs for decades and other technologies for millennia, yet humans still have jobs, plenty of them in fact. The automation phenomenon has been overhyped to sell books and consulting services. There is little to it as an exploration into AI’s capabilities shows that, like other tools, AI and robots will work with humans as compliments, not as substitutes.
