Entrepreneurial Social Responsibility and Business System Security

Entrepreneurial social responsibility is growing in popularity, especially in transitional countries, though many aspects of the concept are still open for both researches and practitioners. Authors think that social entrepreneurs, or the persons with explicit social mission, are not the only business oriented subjects caring the responsibility for the rest of society. In modern economy, each organization is responsible for their activities and for expected outcomes. Therefore, business system security is only a small part of overall social responsibility in stakeholders’ economy. Even the International standard for social responsibility SA 8000 demands that health and care be included in general system of social responsibility. Though health and care are only a part of security in entrepreneurial organizations, it is obvious that social responsibility depends on proper system security. As long as security covers individual, organizational or ecological protection, authors should discuss the business system security as an important constituent of socially responsible behaviour of each and every entrepreneur.
