Abstract

Este ensayo se concentra en analizar la violencia contra los niños, niñas y adolescentes (NNA) en el hogar, espacio en el que pasan la mayor cantidad de tiempo y que no siempre resulta ser un entorno seguro. Las autoras resaltan el limitado avance de las políticas contra la violencia dirigida hacia los NNA en el hogar. Asimismo, explican que esto se debe, principalmente, a tres razones: aún se considera la violencia contra estos grupos como un tema privado y no como un problema de salud pública; hay un escaso capital político para la atención y prevención de este tipo violencia; y no existen arreglos institucionales que favorezcan la adecuada articulación entre los diferentes sectores y niveles de gobierno, lo cual permitiría un abordaje sistémico y multinivel del tema.
