Abstract

This chapter encapsulates research regarding attorneys’ decision making in jury selection and jurors and juries’ behavior in evaluating evidence, conducting deliberations, and determining awards. It reports on the effects of race and gender in jurors’ attitudes toward attorneys, parties, and witnesses.
