Abstract

Chapter 2 expands on the argument to show that traditional technology transfer mechanisms are a subset of knowledge transfer mechanisms, and they have a similar impact on innovation and economic growth as do knowledge transfers. Examples of both knowledge transfer and technology transfer mechanisms are discussed in a comparative light.
