The Unidroit Principles in investment arbitration

Abstract

The Unidroit Principles were initially designed as a tool to govern international commercial transactions. Traditionally they had performed a limited role in the international investment arbitration. However their importance in this field has been growing in recent years, and this chapter describes relevant developments in this regard.
