Abstract

David Reza Adampour received the Oslo citizen of the year award in 2018. Two years later, employees in his grocery store blew the whistle on him for wrongdoing. Adampour was thus a hero who turned suspect. If the allegations were correct, then convenience themes included individual possibilities, status to commit, chaos to conceal, deviance based on identity, and innocence based on justification. Fraud examiners at audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers where hired to investigate the allegations against the merchant who ran his grocery store based on a franchising contract with the Rema corporation. PwC examiners conducted a problem-oriented investigation where they submitted all allegations to Adampour for contradiction. However, he was unable to respond and became hospitalized. Family members hired a law firm to help them with the contradiction on behalf of their brother.
