Abstract

This concluding chapter answers the original questions posed in Chapter 1 by summarizing the previous thematic chapters in the form of individual member-specific profiles. It organizes the G20 members into subgroups: the G7, BRICS, MIKTA, as well as Argentina and Saudi Arabia, which do not belong to any specific grouping at the time of writing, although they were invited to join BRICS in August 2023. The chapter outlines member-specific perspectives as well as common positions, identities and behaviours within these subgroups, as well as points at which, and reasons why, they diverge.
