Abstract

Problem-finding may in certain instances be as important and as difficult as problem-solving. The same holds for both the spatial location of economic activity and the appropriate industry to locate there. Understanding the ideas of investors and the capability of the public administration to support them _ or not _ is often crucial in the location of economic activity and its development. Still, chance events often play an important role in the spatial location of economic activity.
