Abstract

El capítulo explora las perspectivas futuras de las Cajas de Compensación Familiar en Colombia mediante tres escenarios: fortalecimiento del modelo existente, reforma de la financiación parafiscal y transformación institucional hacia plataformas digitales de bienestar. Examina las oportunidades y exigencias de cada alternativa en relación con la autonomía operativa, la cobertura, la transparencia y la adaptación a nuevas modalidades laborales. Asimismo, presenta indicadores de transformación humana como herramientas para orientar la evaluación del desempeño social. El análisis aborda el papel de las Cajas en la construcción de paz y cohesión social, particularmente mediante el acceso a servicios y oportunidades en territorios afectados por la desigualdad. También considera las posibilidades de articulación con el Estado, las empresas y la sociedad civil para desarrollar respuestas compartidas a las necesidades familiares. Finalmente, plantea que el futuro institucional dependerá de la capacidad de combinar innovación, colaboración y legitimidad social, preservando el propósito de protección de los trabajadores.
