Abstract

Este libro ofrece una visión completa y detallada de la historia y la evolución del Banco de la República de Colombia y de los bancos centrales en América Latina, destacando la importancia de su independencia y su papel en la estabilidad económica. El texto se divide en 5 capítulos, cada uno escrito por un autor diferente, que abordan temas como la historia de las crisis económicas en Colombia, la evolución de las políticas monetarias y cambiarias, la independencia de los bancos centrales en América y aborda los desafíos futuros que enfrentaran los bancos centrales.
