Abstract

Este es un artículo dedicado al tema “Brazil and Turkey show India what not to do” donde se afirma que el modelo de manejo del banco central se ha consolidado en torno a una meta de inflación lograda mediante herramientas como la tasa de interés. La conveniencia de la independencia de los bancos centrales todavía es cuestionable, por ejemplo, en Brasil y Turquía, la independencia de los bancos centrales es un tema nuevo y no del todo aceptado, pues, aunque se han aplicado las metas de inflación el resultado no es muy favorable, la inflación esta por encima del pronostico y esto a llevado a dichas naciones a fortalecer las políticas. Otros temas incluidos en el documento son la dicotomía en el manejo de la banca central entre los países desarrollados, también podrá leer más textos relacionados en el capítulo.
