Abstract

La crisis económica de Colombia en 1999 que fue causal de un cambio en la política monetaria y cambiaria. Una época caracterizada por importantes transformaciones que se introdujeron a la promulgación de la Constitución de 1991. El capítulo analiza las políticas que adopto el Banco de la República, el detonante de la crisis de 1999 en Colombia y otras crisis en países extranjeros.
