El patrón monetario de oro en la encrucijada

Abstract

La economía colombiana experimentó un declive en la demanda y los negocios a partir del segundo semestre de 1928. - Factores que contribuyeron al declive: La inversión en el rumbo de los factores que habían impulsado la demanda agregada, como la caída de los términos de intercambio y la reducción de las importaciones. - Impacto en el comercio exterior: El comercio exterior se redujo significativamente, con una caída del 190% en las importaciones y una reducción de la mitad en el valor CIF de las importaciones en 1930 en comparación con 1929. - Resultados del comercio exterior: El balance del comercio exterior mostró excedentes desde 1930, debido a una menor caída en las exportaciones en comparación con las importaciones.
