Abstract

El Banco de la República esta autorizado para hacer préstamos directos y redescontar obligaciones, teniendo en cuenta lo que ya expusimos anteriormente. Por medio de esta el Banco cumple con su función de respaldar a los bancos accionistas, mantener la tasa de interés y conservar el mercado monetario del país en óptimas condiciones. Las restricciones y la seguridad de los documentos miran la liquidez de su activo, junto con las relativas a la inversión que se haya dado.
