Abstract

Ya que hemos dicho que el Banco de la Republica no es un Banco de Estado, sino una entidad de derecho privado, en este capítulo se aclara que significa este término, como se conforma, que la compone, su funcionamiento, leyes, derechos, deberes, que tiene en común con los bancos comerciales, los servicios que presta. La eficacia de las funciones encomendadas al Banco de la República como banco de emisión se hace palpable hoy, sin mayor esfuerzo, con la simple comparación de los factores enunciados, en el tiempo anterior y en el que ha seguido a su fundación.
