Abstract

El texto analiza la relación entre el Banco de la República y sus directivos, enfocándose en la composición de la Junta Directiva y las incompatibilidades entre cargos públicos y directivos del Banco. También se examinan la prohibición de redescontar obligaciones garantizadas con cédulas hipotecarias y la separación de campos entre el Banco de la República y el Agrícola Hipotecario. Los puntos clave son: 1. Incompatibilidad entre cargos públicos y directivos del Banco. 2. Prohibición para gerentes y subgerentes. 3. Prohibición de redescontar obligaciones garantizadas con cédulas hipotecarias. 4. Opinión del profesor Kemmerer sobre la prohibición. 5. Separación de campos entre el Banco de la República y el Agrícola Hipotecario. En resumen, el texto destaca la importancia de mantener la independencia y la profesionalidad en la gestión del Banco de la República.
