Abstract

En el capítulo se ilustra la manera en que los diarios informaron al país y comentaron las medidas cambiarias entre noviembre de 1966 y junio de 1968. Para entender mejor, se debe conocer el contexto político en el momento de suscitarse el “conflicto” entre las autoridades de Colombia y el Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI). Entremos entonces a mostrar la manera como la prensa informó al país de los sucesos que hoy vemos como antecedentes y desarrollo inmediato del Decreto Ley 444 de 1967.
