La exposición del empleo al Covid-19 en Colombia

Abstract

En este capítulo, analizamos la vulnerabilidad económica de los trabajadores colombianos a la crisis del Covid-19, a lo cual el resto del capítulo se divide en tres partes: La primera su debida introducción que trata sobre la pandemia del Covid-19 y las medidas implementadas para mitigar sus efectos a los que desencadenaron una crisis sin precedentes en la historia reciente de Colombia y el mundo, en la segunda discutimos en detalle la clasificación de las dimensiones de vulnerabilidad del empleo a la crisis del Covid-19 consideradas en la metodología de Alfaro, Becerra y Eslava (2020). En la tercera sección caracterizamos estos niveles de vulnerabilidad y los comparamos con las pérdidas observadas de empleo durante 2020. Finalmente, en la cuarta parte planteamos algunas conclusiones e implicaciones de política.
