Este capítulo presenta una descripción del contenido del libro y su objetivo, según la autora este libro esta dirigido a los interesados en el rol de las entidades microfinancieras en el proceso de inclusión financiera en Colombia y en su contribución al desarrollo económico del país y otros públicos como las entidades financieras y los hacedores de política pública.
