Abstract

Explicación sobre las causas del déficit fiscal y la suspensión del pago de la deuda externa, los inconvenientes para cumplir con los gastos públicos con los problemas de orden público que han generado el uso de muchos recursos económicos. Se presenta la continuidad de las obras públicas que se llevan a cabo, se estableció la navegación por el Río Magdalena, y las empresas del estado han presentado rentas, se unificó la deuda interna y se hace un informe detallado de la situación de la hacienda pública en Colombia para 1880.
