Abstract

Recuento de las rentas y la causa del aumento de éstas, pormenores de la administración de las salinas, de las aduanas, estado de las tierras baldías, la explotación de bosques, la contabilidad y la necesidad de impulsar la inmigración para colonizar con extranjeros dado que ya hay una gran cantidad de indios en la región del Carare. Hace un llamado a civilizar a los indígenas para que puedan ser productivos e informa sobre los avances de la construcción de los ferrocarriles en Colombia en 1874.
