Abstract

Informe pormenorizado de las rentas y gastos públicos, detalle de la administración de las salinas, el comercio exterior y datos de exportación e importación de mercancías, la construcción de ferrocarriles. Análisis de la ley de 1872 sobre enajenación de bienes para construcción del Capitolio Nacional. Descripción de los bienes públicos, el contrabando, los impuestos, los telégrafos y el correo en Colombia para 1873. También hace una explicación de la importancia de los ferrocarriles en Estados Unidos para el aumento de los precios agrícolas.
